Snow, cold, ice, and...CHRISTMAS!!!

Hello again! I'm sorry that I have not written in a while. I have been busy being cold. Thats cus I just got another fur cut and it it has been snowing almost constintly. I have been curling up in a ball trying to find warmth. Today I found a solution. The laptop! But how can a laptop warm me up? Well, you know how they let out warmth on the sides? Well, I just curl up and go to sleep next to it and it is ver y nice and toasty. The reason that I can curl up next to it is because it is on the couch. How nice and conveeniant.

Besides being cold, I am looking forward to Christmas. After all, 'its the most wonderful time of the year!'

Well, I'm sorry that I haven't written for so long but my feeble excuse is that I have been very busy working with my mother. Doing what? you ask. Well, she is running a small business on eBay (which is some kind of store in a box [humans call it the internet the the computer, I think]). Well, my job is to check out all of the clothes that she is selling and a have a check list of what to look (and sniff) for: 1. bombs 2. guns 3. knifes 4. drugs 5. to make sure that it is soft and comfy. As you can probably tell, I am a very busy dog, so once again, I am very sorry that I have not written in a while. But why can't my sister do that? (you ask again!). She is at her new school, that's why!. She has been going there since the beginning of September (of course) and she is really liking it. meanwhile, back at home, I have to do all of the hard stuff around here. Let's see now...what to talk about... Ah!, yes, elections are today. Obeagle is running against McCorgi to be the president of The United Dogs of America(UDA). Here are their pictures:

I have already voted but I will keep my choice to my self. The humans are having a similar election. They will vote for ether John McCain or Barack Obama.

Today I just heard that my owners are going to Tennessee for 10 Days! I think that they are leaving this Friday. I am so sad . I really don't like being away from them. Then again, I will get to stay with my Grandparents while they are gone, so that will be fun. I will still miss them though. I hope that I can Bring all of my toys along with me. That will help a lot.

Up until yesterday my fur was VERY long and hot! I was sweltering! It was like wearing a winter coat all day! Then, yesterday morning, my mom took me in the car to go somewhere. The funny thing was that my sister didn't come along. That made me kind of nervous. Then we drove for about 15 minutes until we reached a building that I recognized as the kennel! I got really frightened then. Were they going to leave me there and go on a vacation without me? I didn't want to be separated from my family. I'd have to go the that awful place were they keep my in a box all day! Then I heard my mom say something abut how short to cut my fur. I knew that a was just getting groomed. First they weighed me and said that I weigh ten pounds! Then my mom left! I whined and whined for the longest time! I didn't know when I would see her again! They gave me a bath and they cut a LOT of my fur off. They also clipped my nails. Before I knew it my mom was there! She hadn't forgotten me!! I was sooo exited!! Now, i feel great! I'm much cooler.

My 3rd Birthday!!

Yesterday was my 3rd birthday and at first I thought that they had forgotten it. Then I saw some presents!! I knew that they were for me! Later, I finally got to open them! I tried to open them myself but in the end my sister had to do it for me. The first one was a bone that looked like a cigar (whatever that is!). It is sooooooooooooo good. i used to have another one but I chewed it up too much. Now I have a new one! The other one was a teddy-bear-shaped toy! I don't know what the significance of that is but my mom seemed to think that was REALLY funny. Its nice but its not my favorite toy. The last, but definitely not least is some DOG TREATS!!! They are bacon flavored and they are soooooooooooooo good! They take a long time to chew so my mom and sister save them for the evenings. They also gave me half of a biscuit. Yummy! Over all I had a really nice 3rd birthday.

Today was Saturday and my family ate outside. They had hamburgers and hot dogs. It was almost unbearable because thy did not give my any (except my mom and sister gave me a teensy bit, but as soon as I tasted that it was gone, so that does that really count). I also gave me some pickles. Mom didn't think that I would like it but I surprised her by gobbling it up. It was so good! I loved it! My sister gave me a little piece also. So thats basically it. Ta ta for Now!

Today was a wonderful moment in my life! When my mom was taking me outside I saw a cat under the table on the porch! Well, I chased it right out of there. First he jumped down to the ground so I did what I had not dared to do before- I jumped down from the porch! I chased him out of there! It was WONDERFUL! My mom and sister are very proud of me, but I was just protecting them so I don't know what the big fuss is about. Other than that it was normal today.

Today is Monday so we had lots of people over. My mom runs this group of kids that meet once a week and I can't figure out why they come. What they do is they sit on these chairs( I don't get the point of chairs, the ground is perfect for all my needs)and they howl all these different songs. It's so funny! I can't figure out why they do it. Whatever their doing, it gives me a chance to practice my defending and barking and jumping skills. One must not get out of practice one those things, right? The only problem whose that my sister keep holding me and would not let my sniff them! :( Other stuff happened but that was the climax of the day. Bye until tomorrow!

Today is Sunday so I get to have a long nap in the sun-room while my family is at church. It is a nice break from all the commotion around here. I just sit in my bed and sleep, or get up on the couch and watch the people walk by.

Today my family had pork roast and as usual, did not offer me the bone. I really do not understand why they withhold that special treat from me, but there must be a good reason, because I know that they love me a lot.

This evening my family goes back to church and I can finally have some peace and quiet again.
